Vanguard Technologies is a growing systems, services and consultancy company dedicated to using innovative technologies to solve complex management problems.

One of the areas where we have acquired expertise is the exciting new field of Complex Event Processing where our consultancy, software and services solutions enable senior managers to gain real-time insight into their business operations to increase sales, reduce costs and ensure corporate compliance to regulatory requirements.

We are currently seeking exceptional associate consultants with experience in Complex Event Processing, Event Stream Processing or Business Activity Monitoring or some other closely related field.   As a consultant you will need to be able to determine and model the causal relationships between high-level business event that will interest corporate managers and lower level IT events and then determine the actions that should be executed in real-time to alert management (via a dashboard) or execute real-time business related actions on their IT systems.

You do not need to have any programming experience. Rather you need good business analyst skills and are able to quickly understand our client’s business processes.  Furthermore you should be capable of learning quickly as we will give you any training that you require to get up to speed in this area.

You need to be able to deliver exceptional service to our clients and should have excellent communications and interpersonal skills.  You should be able to interact at all levels of an organisation especially at director and board levels. We seek to take on associates who are willing to help us grow our business and in return we will help you grow your consultancy practice under our brand.

You will need to be value oriented as all our engagements are sold and justified using ROI financial measures.  Our clients pay us based on the value that we bring to them. Therefore all our consultants should seek opportunities that enable us to either increase our client’s business profits by increasing customer sales or reducing business costs. 

You will be expected to help Vanguard win business by attending sales meeting with our sales people and helping in the preparation of business proposals, which you will be subsequently engaged on if we win the business.

Most of our engagements likely to be medium to long term (3 months to 12 months) and rates are negotiable and depend on role, level of your experience, and contract length.
